There are many ways to get involved with the Contemporary Arts Center. Volunteers, docents, donors, members, visitors, staff, our neighbors and more, all support the CAC in unique and important ways.

 

At the Contemporary Arts Center, diverse members of our community enjoy shared experiences around art. People who might otherwise not come together, find the opportunity to do so in our galleries and through our programming. The CAC is a dynamic cultural forum, a unique space for reflection and dialogue. Our mission is based on the belief that connections are made through contemporary art.  As one of the oldest and most important contemporary art institutions in the country, the CAC is where the public comes to engage with artists, scholars and each other around contemporary issues. With your help, the CAC continues to be the place where neighbors are exposed to, and inspired by, new ideas, and where art connects people to each other and to the world.

The Contemporary Arts Center anchors a thriving and vibrant community. There is a a creative energy surrounding everything we do, and a long and rich history of the CAC hive mind. It spills over to busy sidewalks, restaurants and shops—radiating out into the community. We’re a vital part of the innovative activity fueling our city’s future.
