Education at the CAC

Learn about Contemporary Art

The CAC's Education Department makes exhibitions accessible to the widest possible audience by providing interpretive and entertaining information in a variety of forms and through special programs for children and adults.

Sara M. & Patricia A. Vance Education Center: The UnMuseum® and special events like Family Sundays and Thursday Art Play give families the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with contemporary art. For schools, we offer the Scripps Schools Program and The CAC Teacher Program. The CAC offers an array of programs for adults, including Milestones: An Introduction to Contemporary Art, Lectures and Artists Talks, and exciting volunteer opportunities.
