The CAC’s Education Department makes exhibitions accessible to the widest possible audience by providing interpretive and entertaining information in a variety of forms and through special programs for children and adults.

Families/Children

Family Saturdays and Thursday Art Play at the UnMuseum® provide fun hands-on experience with contemporary art.

Schools

For schools we offer the Scripps Schools Program and The CAC Teacher Program.

Adults

For adults we offer speaker series, film screenings, Artists' Talks, workshops, gallery talks, special exhibition programming, educational classes and exciting volunteer opportunities.

Free Guided School Tours (K-12th Grade)

Group Tours

Guided Group Tours: Experts are available for private guided tours of the Contemporary Arts Center. These tours focus on the architecture and/or exhibitions, and must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. Self-Guided Group Tours:
Groups of 10 or more who schedule a self-guided tour through the Education Department at least two weeks in advance receive a $1 per person discount off the regular price of admission. To schedule the self-guided group rate, contact us atl 513 345 8419 or tours@contemporaryartscenter.org.
