ABOUT FEMME DEN:
The Femme Den is here to save good women from bad products. They started as an underground collective of international women at Smart Design, searching for answers in a world that was not designed for them. They've now grown into a leading team of design researchers, industrial designers, and engineers who are paving the way for a deeper understanding around design and gender. They speak around the world on the topic, working to stimulate positive change in the design and business communities.

ABOUT ANDREW MAYNARD:
The go-to guy for governments and international research institutions alike, Maynard is a scientist with a self-described unhealthy interest in the dark side: "I used to be a bona fide research scientist, but a few years back I entered the alternative reality of science policy and communication. Under the delusion that 'science,' 'policy' and 'communication' are not mutually exclusive, I’ve spent the past few years trying to make sense of what happens when all three come together." Maynard directs the University of Michigan's School of Public Health, Risk Science Center and authors 2020 Science.

Borrowing from one of this year's exhibition titles (Where Do We Go From Here?), we've invited global game-changers of all kinds to the Contemporary Arts Center to answer one question: Where do we go from here? There are no other rules. Each one will be different and each one will get you thinking. We can only guarantee one thing: a great conversation. This is what contemporary art can do. This is where the curious come out to play.
